Privacy Policy
1. Who I am
This website and my services are run by me, Haylie Fox, trading as Haylie Fox Medium, in the United Kingdom. I am the "data controller" for your personal information, which means I decide how it is used and I am responsible for looking after it.
If you have any questions about this policy or your information, email me at info@hayliefoxmedium.com. I aim to reply within a few days, and always within one month.

2. What information I collect
I only collect information you give me, plus some basic website usage data.
• Mailing list: your email address and the fact that you agreed to receive my newsletter, when you join on this website or at an event.
• Enquiries: your name, email address and anything you write, when you use the Get in Touch form or email me.
• Bookings: your name, email address, phone number, billing address (for payment), the date and time you choose, and any message you add.
• Purchases: your name, email address and order details when you buy a course, gift card or paid service. Card details are handled by Wix Payments and I never see or store them.
• Website visits: basic usage information such as pages visited and device type, collected through cookies (see section 7).
What you share in readings and healing: during a reading, healing session or course you may tell me personal things, such as about loved ones who have passed, your health or your spiritual beliefs. The law treats health and beliefs as especially sensitive. I treat everything shared in a session as confidential. I do not record sessions or keep written notes of what is said, and I will not use what you share for anything else or pass it to anyone.
3. Why I use it, and my legal basis
UK data protection law says I need a lawful reason for each way I use your information. These are mine:
• To arrange and deliver readings, healing, courses and other services you book: contract.
• To take payment and keep financial records: contract, and legal obligation (tax records).
• To reply to your enquiries: legitimate interests.
• To send you my newsletter: consent, only if you have ticked the box to join.
• To keep the website working and see how it is used: legitimate interests, and consent for non-essential cookies.
I never sell or rent your information, and I do not use it for anything you wouldn't reasonably expect.
4. My mailing list
I only add you to my mailing list if you choose to, by ticking the box on a sign-up form on my website or at an event. Booking a reading, buying something or sending me a message does not add you to the list.
My newsletter includes spiritual messages, poetry, and news of readings, courses, workshops and events.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email, or by emailing info@hayliefoxmedium.com. When you unsubscribe I stop sending newsletters straight away, and keep your email address on a "do not contact" list only so I don't email you again by mistake.
5. Who I share it with
I use a small number of trusted services to run my website and deliver my work. They only use your information to provide their service to me, and they must keep it secure.
• Wix.com: hosts this website and runs its forms, bookings and checkout.
• Wix Payments: takes card payments securely.
• Wix Email Marketing: sends my newsletter.
• Zoom: runs online readings, courses and groups. I do not record Zoom sessions.
I may also share information if the law requires it. I never sell your information.
Some of these providers are based outside the UK, for example in the USA or Israel. Where your information is transferred outside the UK, it is protected by UK adequacy decisions or by approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
